Kitio ships one app with a small catalogue of modules rather than a suite of half-finished tools. You activate what you actually need and the rest stays out of the way.

Dependable engineering
Correctness is a feature. Entitlements are server-authoritative, offline caches are integrity-protected and the import pipeline validates before it trusts.
The .kitio format is closed-whitelist at every level of its schema. Content is hashed, declared and verified — undeclared entries reject the entire file.

Privacy as a foundation
Data you never collect cannot leak. Kitio works without an account, shows no advertising and does not track you across other apps.
There are no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking, no analytics and no crash reporting in this version. Your imported content stays on your device.

Data-only packages
A .kitio file carries content and settings — never executable code. No scripts, no bytecode, no runtime-loaded binaries.
Server-authoritative entitlements
Activation is verified on the server. The offline cache is integrity-protected and device-bound, and the app holds no private signing keys.
Closed-whitelist validation
Every file inside a package is declared with an expected SHA-256 hash and an allowed MIME type. Anything undeclared rejects the whole import.
Encrypted local backups
Backups are manual and encrypted with a password Kitio never stores. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud on its own.
